Nainital, which is nestled amidst the Kumaon Hills, is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in Uttarakhand. This hill station is built around a uniquely mango shaped lake known as the 'Naini Lake'(hence the name, Nainital. Tal means 'lake' in local language.). Nainital is also known as City of Lakes, other lakes that you can visit near Nainital are the Sariyatal Lake, Bhimtal Lake, and Khurpatal Lake. Nainital is situated at an altitude of 1938 km above sea level and has a pleasant climate all year round. Nainital has quite a few hilltops that offer extraordinary views of the city and its surrounding regions to the visitors. These include Naina Peak, Tiffin Top, and Snow View Point, all of which are very popular tourist spots. Nainital is something to offer to each visitor whether you are going for the climate, adventure, food, lakes or shopping.

Jim Corbett National Park is a forested wildlife sanctuary in Uttarakhand. Rich in flora and fauna, it’s known for its Bengal tigers. Corbett Tiger Reserve has captured the imagination of many with its diverse wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. The park was first named as the 'Hailey National Park' and was later renamed as 'Corbett National Park' after James Edward Corbett the noted hunter turned conservationist of the area. The streams, rivers and ridges crisscrossing the terrain, present Corbett with a remarkable variety of landscapes. The most famous of Corbett's wild residents are the Royal Bengal Tiger and the Asiatic Elephant. In addition to that with over 550 species of avifauna Corbett is one of the richest bird regions of the Country and has been declared as an 'Important Bird Area' (IBA) by Birdlife International.

Kausani is a picturesque hill town of Uttarakhand. Mahatma Gandhi once compared the surroundings to that of Switzerland, since then it is also known as Switzerland of India. Kausani is situated at an altitude of 1890 meters above sea level in the Himalayan foothills and is surrounded by a thick cover of pine trees. The town overlooks Someshwar Valley, Trisul, Nanda Devi and Himalayan range is also visible from Kausani. Kausani has mild summers and really cold winters. Summers start from the month of March and stays till June. Winters are really cold buy if you really want to experience the true picturesque beauty of Kausani, it is the best time to visit this hill town. Kausani is also famous for its tea gardens. The Rudradhari Caves and Waterfalls are also a must visit spot which is located in the Kailash region
